Program notes:

Bill Patrowicz spoke about his commitment to WarriorWorks, an organization that he founded to help wounded warriors get back into the world of work. He and his family have lived here in Canandaigua for the past 10 years. He is a former Army officer, twice wounded. WarriorWorks is planning a special event on Sept. 11 to honor our disabled veterans. There will be a benefit concert at Crosswinds Church featuring singer Sara Groves. They could use about 50 volunteers. Most of the wounded warrriors are young men age 18-25 with high school educations, from rural areas. Bill works with corporations to find job placements for these veterans, starting with 5 - 10 hours a week. It is key to have mentors for these workers. His organization hopes to have 300 placed by year's end.

Contact Bill at 585-208-8304 or bill@warriorworks.org. See www.warriorworks.org
