The float assembly. Marty Potter and George Herren using team work assembly in the shade of Ray Mincer's work shop. Vehicles ready, so is driver Tom Sheavly. A close up. Rotarians Dan Kelley, Joe Kardesh, Tim and Sandy Reed.
Ken Poole's band all tuned up and ready to go. These girls are float ready. Uncle Sam (aka Skip Buck) and Joe Delforte Jr. A Chris Craft Woodie loaded with Pietropaolos. Rotary float parade ready.
Float loaded and ready to go! Rotary float on a roll Dan Kelley, Judy Flamini, Steve Flamini, and Joe Delforte leading out. Carin and George Herren leading out Rotarian Bruce Kennedy and friends
Here they come down Main St Our July 4th band had that big band sound! Our float, from the back. The band in tow. Is that Bob Palumbo driving with an arm cast, or was he hiding it? Our float eases on down Main St with the careful driving of George Herren.
Oldies but goodies under their own power. Too hot to put the top down, but one can imagine! Rotary's majorette, every parade needs at least one. The reviewing stand and judges did a great job. Rotary received the Grand Marshals Trophy. Kathi Nevin, Ray Henry, and John Spare introducing each marching group.
Great job Rotarians for the Grand Marshal trophy.
