Our club collected several donations for Ukrainian refugees, including diapers, personal hygiene products, socks, & toothbrushes. Member, Wanda Martinez-Johncox and her daughter delivered the items to InterVol Agency in Rochester, an agency handling donations for Ukraine.
Canandaigua Rotarians collected several items for the K-6th grade BOCES program located at the Red Jacket Learning Center during the month of February. Items ranged from easy prep foods to clothing to personal items. The Red Jacket Rotary Club also participated in this service project and Canandaigua National Bank supported the project by having donation boxes placed in their local branches.
Gareth Evans was inducted on March 10, 2022 as our newest member. Gareth is a District Executive for the Glacier Lake District of the Seneca Waterways Council, Boy Scouts of America. He oversees BSA clubs in Seneca, Yates, Ontario and Wayne Counties. Welcome Gareth to the Canandaigua Rotary Club!
