Rotarian Preston Pierce prepared a presentation to the Canandaigua Rotary Club back in 2013 that discussed a couple of early Rotary projects in Canandaigua.

Many folks these days are completely unaware of the work done to create the Preventorium (a tuberculosis-related project) done by the club, and the creation of the Boys Band that eventually became the Canandaigua Academy Boys Band that played across the country.

Then in June, 2019, at the Canandaigua Rotary Club 100 year Centennial Birthday Party, Preston presented an abbreviated form of the entire 100 year history of the club, all the way from its founding to its centennial. There is a bit of duplication between these two presentations, but both are very much worth the time spent in your reading of them.

And thank you to Preston, for all the work that went into preserving and communicating this Canandaigua Rotary Club history.
