The 7120 Rotary District Conference was held in Oswego, with over 200 in attendance for the 2 1/2 days.

Our Club received a plaque for the support we lent the Honor Flights of Rochester.

On a picture perfect Saturday the Canandaigua Rotary Club put together a team of highway crew volunteers to walk the trenches of Routes 5 & 20. They may have been seen by their cute hats, reflective gear, colorful orange garbage bags, and their sharp poking sticks.

Doug Merrill was inducted into the Club. Doug retired from RIT biomedical sciences following 40 years of instruction. He is also a Director for the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association Board. Doug has been married to Rochester Judge Debra Martin for forty years. They have two grown children, and four plus grandchildren.

Rotarians from the Canandaigua and Red Jacket Clubs collected items for the K-6th grade BOCES program along with cardboard boxes at the Canandaigua National Bank local offices. Items were collected during the month of February and ranged from easy prep foods to clothing to personal items.

Tracey Dello Striho and Sean Buck are Inducted in April.
Tracey works for the Partnership for Ontario County.
Sean is from a multi-generations of Canandaigua families and glad to be back.

The Club raised money from the Bumpers and Banjos held at the Sonnenberg Gardens.

Orders were taken for firewood that were picked up from Chainsaws for Charity site. Manual labor for a good cause.

Club members gathered in Greg Gullo's garage to assemble seedlings with mulch and bag for 1st grade students.

June 22 First Friday was celebrated at Star Cider with Canandaigua's Kiwanis Club. Children's books were collected to be taken to a worthy cause.

Rotarians distributed pumpkins to kids for decoration, but the damp rainy weather hampered some.
